Absolutely charming stay with outstanding service

We had a lovely stay, greeted with warm hospitality and treated to delicious homemade cake upon arrival. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, and breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local ingredients and a variety of options, including scrumptious blueberry pancakes. The location is perfect, just a short walk between Windermere and Bowness. My only suggestion for improvement would be to consider better soundproofing in the rooms for a more peaceful experience.

Loved the amazing breakfast and cozy attic room, but Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

Amazing stay with tasty pancakes!

Just spent 2 nights here and we loved it! The warm welcome with coffee and carrot cake was such a nice touch. Room was comfy and warm, with a newly redone shower that was ace. Breakfast was a feast, especially those blueberry and banana pancakes! Only a bit noisy from the street at times, but overall, fantastic vibes.

It was just a smart choice for a brief stopover in Windermere with good price value. The warm welcome with tea and cake made our stay even more special. Be prepared for some steep hills in the area.

The complimentary tea and carrot cake, was a great start. our small double room was clean and cozy, making it perfect for two nights. breakfast was superb with plenty of options like delicious blueberry and banana pancakes, a real treat!

For a unique breakfast experience, request the handmade fruit salad, it’s fresh and delightful, a perfect way to start your day!

Had an amazing time at this quirky little B&B! I loved relaxing in the beautiful garden and the cozy lounge area with a good book. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but it didn’t ruin the overall wonderful experience. 😊

The charming room with crisp linens was a delight. Plus, they offered tea and cake upon arrival, which really hit the sweet spot after a long journey! Locationwise, it's a brisk walk to both Bowness and the lake.

If only breakfast had started a smidgen earlier! By the time I woke up, they were practically serving lunch!

Had an amazing time with friends! The location was perfect for hiking at Orrest Head and exploring local tours. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly, always making sure we had what we needed. Can't wait to come back!

Only downside was that soundproofing could be better in the ground floor room. We could hear conversations outside, which was a bit distracting.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, in-room breakfast, and a flat-screen tv. The staff once helped return documents I forgot, and they’re always friendly. I highly recommend enjoying the delicious pancakes for breakfast!
